We provide a safe and fun environment for group play, with private rooms for “alone time”. We are fully staffed, therefore, your cat will get all the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s a weekend, holiday or extended care, your cat will spend the days having supervised fun with their BFFFs (Best Furry Friends Forever) and nights will enjoy a delicious rest where they can dream big and always stay happy!
We know you’re the best caregiver when it comes to taking care of your cat, but we strive to be the best while you’re away!

We are lovers of all animals, both big and small, we have shared our lives with them. Bringing four dogs to Panama was the easy part, finding a place for them to “vacation” when we had to travel was much more difficult. Need meets opportunity!
VIP Vacation Kennels opened its doors in December 2010, providing an alternative to the cage kenneling popular in Panama. Providing a safe and enjoyable experience for your pets is the focus of ourselves and our staff. In 2018 we expanded to offer a cats only vacation experience.
There are wide open spaces for group play, private areas for those less social, climbing trees, scratch pads, tunnels and toy boxes full of toys.

Discounts for extended stays – we can provide you with a quote based on the dates required.
It is necessary that all cats have their rabies, feline viral rhinotracheitis and feline panleukopenia vaccines. Before check-in a negative test for feline leukemia and current immunization certificates must be provided.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to any cat currently under veterinary treatment. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any pet that appears unwell or aggressive at time of reservation.
If a guest becomes ill or if the state of the animals health requires professional attention, we may at our sole discretion, engage the service of a veterinarian or administer medicine or give other requisite attention to the animal. This may include, but is not limited to treatment of diarrhea, vomiting, coughing or other obvious illness.
Although we are a 24/7 business, we receive clients daily by appointment between 8am – 4pm. If you are collecting after 12pm (mid-day) you will be charged for an additional day.
Absolutely! We post photos daily, except Sundays, to our Facebook page, VIP Vacation Kennels Panama. If you do not use Facebook let us know and we will send photos to you.
We require owners to supply sufficient food for the duration of their stay and a current vaccination certificate. You are welcome to bring your pet’s bed (we are not responsible for beds that are destroyed during the stay), any snacks (in airtight containers), a favorite toy (keep in mind that it may not return!)
Only with prior permission from the owner, and only if your cat is social and shows no aggresion towards others, will guests share play time.
Only siblings (cats from the same house) can share a room and only if previously agreed at the time of booking. Siblings can be fed separately if you prefer.
Yes, we offer transport everyday, except Sunday and Public Holidays. Between 8-12 times are set depending on the number of pets to be collected or returned.
Yes, depending on the length of stay of required. Please inquire at time of booking.
Our philosophy is simple, guests eat and sleep in their accomodation and spend the majority of their day playing freely in our open areas.
